Hans Trnka is Jason's GREAT-grandfather, not grandfather. Full chain:
Hans Trnka (great-grandfather) → Eva Trnka Parkerson (grandmother) → Donna Lee Parkerson (mother) → Jason
Reading bottom-up: Jason → mother → grandmother → great-grandfather Hans → Hans's father Franz → earlier Bohemian generations at Žirovnice č. 69.

r-6713739262843818895, attach baptism_pg0311_folio307_JohannIgnatz_Trnka_Dec1892.jpg, send. Six days unanswered.Three Trnka children documented at house č. 69, Žirovnice, in the 1808–1815 cohort (Book 8926): Johann (pg054), Leon (pg058), Wendeling (pg060). Father's first name "Georg" is clearly legible on pg060; surname reads ambiguously in Kurrent (probable "Trnke"). Expert Kurrent verification pending. If confirmed, the documented line extends back to ~1775.
Čeněk Trnka (b. Jan 8, 1832, Žirovnice č. 69, son of Jan Trnka the weaver) is confirmed via Book 8928 p.17 entry 8. He moved to Strmilov č. 8–9 and fathered three children there: František (1866), Johana (1869), Karolína (1872) — all with Františka née Hronlová of Žirovnice č. 188. Strmilov Book 9 confirms František's Heimatrecht = Strmilov.
The 1888 Vienna marriage record (Trauungsbuch, entry 201, folio 371) confirms a Franz Trnka born Žirovnice married in Vienna June 10, 1888. Discrepancy: Vienna record names groom's deceased father as "Franz Trnka (selig)" — not "Čeněk." Three explanations remain in play: (1) Kurrent misread of "Wenzel/Vincenz" → "Franz"; (2) different Franz Trnka unrelated to Čeněk's line; (3) intermediate Franz between Čeněk and the 1888 groom.
The compass_artifact phonetic analysis concludes the strongest candidate is Heřmaneč (Jindřichův Hradec District): "P"→"H" is a documented Kurrent misread, "-manzeice"→"-řmaneč" is phonetically plausible, and Heřmaneč sits ~12 km from the Strmilov Trnka cluster and ~15 km from Žirovnice — geographically consistent. Earlier candidates Křečov and Přimánice (both in western Bohemia under SOA Plzeň) are SUPERSEDED.
SS Application as "Hans August Trenka" lists DOB July 30, 1892 (self-reporting error); folio 307 (Dec 21, 1892) is authoritative.
Sixteen Feldpost postcards (IMG_0224–IMG_0239) confirm Hans served in Jägerkompagnie 101/G and K.u.k. Fliegerkompagnien (Feldpost 510 = 10. Armee Quartiermeister, Italian Front). Active Feb 1916. Cards addressed to Fräulein Hannchen Herbst, Winklisplatz 4, Altona/Elbe — independently confirms Hannchen's maiden name.
IMG_0240 is the original Geburtschein from Fluss-Standesamt Altona, Register-Nr. 1637, issued Dec 13, 1922 (one day after birth). Full name: Eva Maria Johanna Trnka. Father: Johann (Hans) Trnka, Stellmacher. Mother: Hannchen Magdalena Karoline geb. Herbst. This is a primary source confirming both surnames at birth.
